The Election Committee is an independent body. It promulgates rules and regulations that govern the conduct of elections in accordance with the provisions of the By-laws. It reviews and approves the qualifications of the candidates, supervises the conduct of elections, canvasses and certifies the results in writing, proclaims the winning candidates and hears and decides all election protests. However, election protests filed by the Committee shall be decided by the Board of Directors.
